This course is perfect for parents who want to introduce their child to music education in a fun, age-appropriate setting. Whether you are looking for an opportunity to bond with your child or prepare them for formal music instruction, this class is for you! The class is for children newborn through age 3 and is held on Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Tuition is free for babies under 6 months old, with a non-refundable $35 registration fee!

Our curriculum is designed for skill mastery instead of simple exposure and is comprised of two repertoire lists of nursery rhymes, circle songs and activities that we alternate in each weekly class. This structure allows for child and parent to gain confidence because everyone knows what’s coming next! In an atmosphere free from pressure, the children become increasingly attentive and highly motivated to participate as the classes progress. This allows the teachers to incorporate new elements and variations into the repertoire as it becomes appropriate for each individual child.
Even the youngest infants learn to respond to others in the class, thus developing a very social atmosphere of empathy and cooperation. At the end of each class, parents have a few moments to write their observations and celebrate their child’s successes that day.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing for this active movement class, and we participate in sock feet to create the safest possible environment for our young students. Each child must have an accompanying adult to participate in class.

All classes take place at First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, 101 Legends Club Lane, Franklin, TN.
Tuition for our 12-week session is $275 for new students, and $260 for returning students. Babies under 6 months may enroll for a $35 non-refundable registration fee. Class CD and booklet are included FREE with the first session’s tuition!
